How Do Hero Dog Ankle Braces Work?
Hock Biomechanics
3-Point Force System — The body weight of the dog wants to make the ankle colapse, see the red arrows. The brace uses green arrows to counter that colapse.
Ground Reaction Force — See that red force pushing up from the ground. Well the green arrow is equal and opposite. So when we include the paw in the design we get the bottom force of the 3 point force system that corrects the leg.
